931 The Weave is proud to join the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery in presenting Weaving the Streets & People's History Archive (WSPHA), an interdisciplinary citizen journalism project focusing on the ways in which ordinary people use public space to express themselves.

Bija Swaraj: The Fight for Farmers' Rights in a Globalizing World

856 The Weave is proud to feature Bija Swaraj, a short documentary film created by three St. Lawrence University students, including Weave blogger and videographer Chloe McElligott. Based on field experience in India and northern New York, the film was made possible through the St. Lawrence University Mellon Crossing Boundaries Humanities Grant.


Weavers participate in national conference

Five members of the Weave recently their work at the 2013 Union for Democratic Communications conference, held at the University of San Francisco on November 1-3.

Directors John Collins and Jana Morgan presented a paper on the pedagogical challenges and benefits of teaching investigative blogging.

This Sunday, September 18, the Weave will be hosting a Bloggers Forum in Sykes Formal Lounge on the campus of St. Lawrence University from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  Attendees will have the chance to hear from several of our current bloggers and learn more about the underreported stories they are covering.
