Mexico is tired

I feel compelled to write about what is happening in Mexico right now. There are no words for it. Not just for the perverted murder of the 43 rural teaching students, but for everything that the tragedy is unveiling. The system is rotten, since the people have not been governing for a long time. The interest of oil companies, transnational enterprises, the oligarchy and the drug cartels are ruling the country at the expense of millions of people living in uncertainty.

What sparked my interest in social media as a form of digitally fueled activism was an incident that happened in June of 2010 and is accredited for stimulating the revolution in Cairo.
