Personal Information
Marina A. Llorente, associate professor of Modern Languages and Literatures at St. Lawrence University, received her Ph.D and M.A in Spanish Literature from the University of Kansas and her B.A from the University of Málaga, Spain. Her current research addresses ethics, the politics of memory and contemporary literature and film in Spain and Latin America. She is co-editing an anthology of poems and short stories on the role of grandmothers in the Hispanic family and culture and is immersed in a book project tentatively titled “So many things not yet invented”: Spain's New Generation of Social Poets.
